THE LIONS, LIONESS, AND LEOS OF DISTRICT A-12 EXTEND DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO THE FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND FELLOW CLUB MEMBERS OF  OUR LIONS FAMILY WHO HAVE PASSED ON. 
WE SHOULD NOT MOURN THEM, BUT INSTEAD, CELEBRATE THEIR LIVES.  THEIR YEARS OF SERVICE TO OTHERS HAS MADE EACH OF THEIR COMMUNITIES A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE.
    Lioness Marjorie Gilby, Barrie Lioness Club,
    August 22, 2007    		 GILBY: Marjorie Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 of heart failure after a full and active 92 years. Marjorie was an active member of the Lioness Club for 62 years and gave many volunteer hours to CNIB, CCB Club and Meals on Wheels both in Barrie and Thunder Bay.
    Lion Paul Dorion, Wasaga Beach Lions Club, September 14, 2007 Lion Paul joined the Wasaga Beach Lions in 1999, and chaired numerous committees including the local Terry Fox Run.   He also served as club "clown" during youth functions.  Always a prankster, his humour will be missed.

    Dr. Bill Coleman, Bracebridge Lions Club,

    Lion Dr. Bill joined the Leaside Lions in December 1946, and transferred his membership to the Markham Lions Club when the family moved to Markham.  After retiring from his dentistry practice in 1984 he moved to Bracebridge and continued as an active member of the Bracebridge Lions Club. 

    When Lion Bill moved to Orillia a few years ago, he had over 55 years perfect attendance – a record that very few Lions have, or will, ever achieve.

    Lion David "Mickey" Collins, Charter Member of the Innisfil Lions Club   David Collins (Mickey) is resting at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, which is located at 201 Minet's Point Road in Barrie.     Lion George Gefucia, Bracebridge Lions,
    February 2008    		 Lion George was a member of Bracebridge Club for over 46 years. He was President in 1964-65 and chaired the Constitution and By-Laws committee, Membership and Attendance committee and served on several other committees during his years in Lionism. Lion George also was chair of the Curling and Golf committee for several years.
